Ski Holidays in Chamonix

Snowboarding in Chamonix Mont-Blanc Ski Holidays: skiing in Chamonix Mont-Blanc

Chamonix is synonymous with world class skiing & snowboarding, especially off-piste, however, there is something for everyone, including non-skiers.

There are several different ski areas in the Chamonix valley.
Les Houches is good for intermediates (6 blue & 12 red runs), has a good ski school for beginners (there are 4 green runs) and is also a good choice when the weather is bad.
In Chamonix as well as the famed Vallée Blanche descent, accessed from the Aiguille du Midi and which is over 20km long, there are the linked Brévent and Flégère areas and beginners slopes at Les Planards.
Further up the valley there is the Grand Montets area in Argentière with skiing up to 3300m and the Le Domaine de Balme in Le Tour. This means that across the valley there are slopes to suit everyone and the ski season starts in December and doesn't finish until May.

The infrastructure in the valley is great for driving, however, there is also a ski bus service operating in the valley as well as private companies who can offer daily transfers to the slopes. Chamonix is easily accessed from Geneva airport, just over an hour away.

All the different ski areas are easily accessible from the chalet, making it the perfect base for your ski holiday and there are also bus and local train stops close to the Chalet for easy access to Chamonix town.
