Chamonix is a beautiful and historic alpine town, famous for being the home of Mountaineering and for offering some of the best skiing in the world.

Chamonix is a genuine all year round resort and although a mecca for winter and summer sports, it has something for everyone no matter how active or inactive you want to be.

A trip up to Aiguille du Midi on one of the highest cable cars in Europe is not to be missed, the views are truly magnificent. Alternatively a short train journey up to the Mer de Glace, will again offer incredible views of the largest glacier in France.
